To commemorate the 150th year of the BACARDI legacy, Master Blender Jose Sanchez Gavito
crafted this limited edition rum as a tribute to Don Facundo's original creation, BACARDI Superior,
which inspired early cocktail-pioneers to create a whole new genre of cocktails that were crisp,
light and with a Fresh taste – including the original Bacardi Daiquiri in 1898. By closely following
the original recipe, Bacardi 1909 Superior meets a similar flavor profile and original strength of the
first Bacardi Rum blending.
